Since its establishment in 1994, KITIS has worked for ASTM International, IEEE and SAE International promotion in Korea. Because the information of ASTM International, IEEE and SAE International are really essential and critical information for our national academic and industrial research and development. And now, KITIS has been servicing HIS, IEEE, SAE information to the 70 top universities, the best national research institutes, and the best companies for example, Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, Hyundai Motors and SK Telecom., and so on.
As we have witnessed, the world of the past has been faced with a new paradigm by the development of information and communication and knowledge informatization, and now Korea is in the era of 'Fourth Industrial Revolution'. Professor Pedro Domingos, a world-renowned scholar in the field of artificial intelligence, described the megatrend up to 2100 at the 17th World Knowledge Forum in Washington, USA, saying, "Technology can develop to infinity on its own, I emphasized that the era of 'machine learning', in which technology is developed, is imminent. The future that artificial intelligence will bring to mankind will show enormous revolutionary technology that is beyond imagination.
